About Youth News Corporation

Independent global journalism on youth policy, rights, and diplomacy.

Who We Are

Youth News Corporation (YNC) is an independent, non-partisan digital newsroom producing rigorous, fact-based journalism on issues defining the lives of young people worldwide. We cover youth policy, labour rights, education, diplomacy, digital culture, and public health — with a focus on institutional accountability and underreported stories from the Global South.

YNC was founded on the principle that young people deserve journalism that takes them seriously — as subjects, as sources, and as readers. Youth issues are not peripheral to YNC. They are our entire mandate.

Editorial Independence

YNC is not affiliated with any government, international organisation, political party, or corporate entity. We accept no advertising from companies whose activities we cover. All editorial decisions are made exclusively by our editorial staff according to the standards described in our Editorial Standards.

Our Editorial Structure

YNC operates six editorial desks: Watchdog & Consumer Protection, Geopolitical & Diplomacy, Future of Work & Economics, Global Education, Digital Culture & Tech Ethics, and Health & Well-being. Every article passes through a three-tier review process: contributors submit drafts, desk editors verify facts and standards, and the Master Editor approves final publication.

The Secure Portal

YNC operates a Confidential Reporting Portal for whistleblowers, researchers, and institutional insiders. Source protection is a non-negotiable editorial commitment. We follow the Society of Professional Journalists Code of Ethics and assert journalistic privilege over all source relationships.

Our commitment is simple: produce journalism about young people that is as rigorous, as global, and as independent as the issues demand.
