How We Protect Sources
Encrypted Transmission
All submissions travel over HTTPS with TLS 1.3 encryption. Form data routes through an external encrypted endpoint — nothing is written to the YNC Hostinger server or MySQL database.
Strict Confidentiality
Only the assigned desk editor and Master Editor see incoming tips. Source identities are never shared with contributors, other staff, or third parties without explicit written consent from the source.
Journalistic Privilege
YNC asserts journalistic privilege and will not disclose source information under government or legal compulsion. We will notify a source before any legal proceedings where possible.
